I have a stack of used Bibles of various sizes. They are mostly, if not all, KJV. The ones with leather covers have mold on them. Is this something that you are able to clean up or replace the covers and possible reuse them? I hate to throw them away or burn them. I guess that is why I’ve held onto them for so long. Unfortunately, where they’ve been stored was damp causing mold issues.
Unforunately, we would be unable to use those. But I would love to add you to our contact list so you can receive news about Mission Cry. We’d also love to send you our Mission Cry magazine if you’d like. Please let me know, and we can get this out to you this week. Thank you!
Respected brother in Christ,
It is with immense interest I am writing this letter. Right from the school
level we small boys were involved in the extension of the Kingdom of God
through Christian tract distribution. Right from the inception of campus crusade
for Christ by 1967 onwards I was involved in the campus ministry. During those
period we were getting Christian books and tracts through Operation mobilization
of India and in co-ordination with Gospel Ministries and we have already involved
in many social service activities like giving food to poor, giving free education to
poor children and assisting them and their family with possible free Medical help
by giving free medicines etc.
All together if I put together is the sum total of what our YMCA at Quilon,
Kerala, India is doing for the needy in different sectors. We have been a help to
many for years together through our YMCA.
This letter is with a special request. We Kollam YMCA is at the 1 st stage of
establishing an exclusive Christian library in our premises.
I have collected many Malayalam Christian books and I am ready to
donate from my own library at home where I have learned the values of Christian
principles. I being a Sunday School Teacher/Secretary/ centre secretary for
years together I got very valuable students who are placed well in society in
establishing the extension of the Kingdom of God.
Now I being the President of Kollam YMCA is urging your organization
help us by giving to us old or new Christian books to our library. I hope you have
understood the need of us in total. It will be very grateful for us if you can arrange
to send free Christian books and literatures for us to be a partner from India to
your side for the extension of the Kingdom of God. Please feel free to send us a
mail. 50% of the freight charges/shipment charges can be paid from our side.
I hope and believe prayerfully that the “Desire of the heart will be given to
us” for this noble cause please do the needful. We will remember you and your
ministry through our prayers. We fully believe that our vision and mission will be
properly rewarded by God as he is the master and guide for us in our daily life
and in the entire life. As I have crossed the age of 65 I hope and believe that God
will do wonders for us.
Yours in his name
Dr. K.G. Thomas Mmin MTH DD PhD
President, YMCA Kollam
