WHO WE ARE

Sending Bibles aroud the World Since 1956

We Have Been Sending Bibles Since 1956

Our Mission Cry

Empowering native missionaries and making disciples since 1956. We have done this by asking people to share their bookshelves that are filled with Bibles and Christian books. Once we have received those materials, we send them around the world, therefore sowing God’s Word into the lives of those who cannot afford it. Mission Cry is equipping orphans, evangelists, pastors, and missionaries for the works of service all the while setting up distribution centers, lending libraries, Bible College libraries, and holding crusades. Mission Cry has distribution points around the world. We have begun a new endeavor to distribute our very own Mission Cry Bible with the G300 Discipleship Program around the world. We have sent over $450 million in Bibles and Christian books to over 179 nations around the world. When you give financially; sponsor the Mission Cry Bible; or donate Bibles, commentaries, and Christian books, you are becoming a book missionary and aligning yourself with the mission, letting the world hear your Mission Cry!

Years of Empowering Native Missionaries

Mission Cry

Our Mission Cry at CRI—to share, send and sow—started over 60 years ago with a simple man with a simple but profound dream, and a heart to fulfill Matthew 28:19—to go and make disciples.  The Word of God does not return void, so what better way to train, lead, and equip than to send Bibles—the word of God!

Christians in other countries need access to Bibles but lack the money to get them.  In America, studies show that the average home has 7 extra Bibles sitting around the house.

From the beginning, one man’s dream of a few books going overseas has turned into a Worldwide Global Mission with companions like you who are strategically sharing, sending and sowing God’s Word to every nation.

Orphans, evangelists, pastors, and missionaries, and those yet to receive Christ are hearing your mission cry.

While you and I have already reached 179 nations and sent over $450 million in donated Christian books and Bibles, there is yet another simple but profound plan to reach even more.

Our strategy to plant distribution centers globally.  Distribution centers are locations we have strategically set up around the globe that will allow people easy and free access to the word of God. These facilities are helping you and I make sure that we can get the word distributed quickly whether through our CRI Missionaries or those from other denominations.

Additionally, we have as of 2019 are  now sending brand new Mission Cry/Christian Resources International NASB Bibles with the G300 discipleship program in the back for free.  We have added this to our ministry as used Bibles are becoming harder to come by.  This will take us into the future, with the only thing that does not return void, the word of God!

It started with the founder and is carried on by the Executive director, Rev. Woolford but accomplished only through you by your financial gifts, generous literature donations, dedicated will to continue God’s vision! Thank you for becoming a book missionary and aligning yourself with the mission to Share, Send, and Sow God’s Word!

SHARE

When you share your resources with Mission Cry, we in turn can share those resources with others. Your donations of Bibles, books, finances, and time are what allow this ministry to share our Mission Cry with the rest of the world!

Send

With the Bibles and Christian books you share with Mission Cry, we are able to pack sea containers and send these Bibles across the globe. Each item is distributed freely to people who do not have easy access (or any at all) to the Word of God.

Sow

Some of our containers are distributed freely to communities where people are hungry for the Word of God, and whose lives will be changed because of the resources we provide. Others go to missionaries and pastors who are training others in the ministry to teach them the Word of God.

Ways to Get Involved

Mission Cry is a ministry that depends on financial donations for letting the world hear our Mission Cry! Each sea container we send costs approximately $11,500 to ship, and we often times raise support for the sponsorship of these containers. We have also partnered with a company who was able to publish the Mission Cry Bible for us at a very low price. These Bibles can be sponsored for just $2 per Bible, which covers the cost of printing and distributing overseas. This allows us to fill our sea containers with more of the Word of God!

All of the Bibles and books that we send overseas have been donated to us by organizations, churches, or individuals just like you. We run a Bible drive 2-4 times a year, in which we collect Bibles from churches all over the country. We also receive Bibles and books at all times throughout the year. This is where the literature comes from that we fill out containers with to send overseas. We need your donation of Bibles and Christian books. Click here for a list of materials we accept.

The Mission Cry headquarters, located in Fowlerville, MI, is always bustling with volunteer groups and individuals who come to support the mission. Our volunteers do everything from removing personal information out of the Bible and book donations to organizing by category, which helps us tremendously in the process of loading containers with God’s Word and material to send pastors, ministry training schools, missionaries, etc.

With book donations that come in from all over the country, we have drop locations where people can bring their donations if they are in close proximity. There is also a need for truck drivers who travel the country and would be willing to volunteer their time and space when possible to pick up pallets of books when they are near their truck routes.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER

We’re always open to having groups, families, and individuals join us at the Mission Cry headquarters to help sort through books, organize, load, and more! Please email us today if you are interested in scheduling a time to come volunteer.
