“This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” Psalm 118:24

As the days have been leading up to and now the day of the American Presidential Inauguration I am overjoyed and excited for the transfer of power. While people talk, shout and protest about the “great divide” in our country and then the call for unity, I wonder is it possible?  The call for the president is to bring unity to the country, which is good initiative, however the only way this country, the greatest country on the planet, the United States of America, to have unity is through understanding of God, His word, and the following of His principles and commandments!

The divide is a spiritual divide!  If we look at the foundational beliefs and actions between not presidents but those who have elected them we see two very different belief systems.  The protection of life, the ability for those who work to keep what they have and give as God has instructed them, being a good steward with the people’s money, and to have the freedom to serve the Lord Jesus are a few of the foundational reasons we see the change in Presidency!

As a United States Marine and a minister I am proud to see America and those in power walking out a peaceful and professional transition of power. This is a magnificent display of democracy. I believe God is pleased in how we have so graciously handled this for all our Presidents.

My prayer is that God will give the outgoing President and the new President Donald Trump ears to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying then a heart to obey!

God Bless The USA,
